Check In and Check Out

Please note the following arrangements for check in and check out at Honey Hunt House:-

* Normal check in time is 2pm. PLEASE NOTE THAT, UNLESS YOU HAVE SPECIFICALLY ADVISED US OF A LATE ARRIVAL / CHECK IN TIME, WHERE A GUEST HAS NOT ARRIVED FOR CHECK IN BY 8PM, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TREAT THIS AS A “NO SHOW” AND RE-SELL THE ROOM ACCORDINGLY.

* Early check in is allowed, but it can never be guaranteed – it depends on previous night occupancy

* If a room is available for early check in (ie unoccupied the previous night, or guest has checked out early and room has been serviced), we allow early check in from 7am to 10am at a cost of P200, and from 10am to 2pm with no extra charge

* Guests who arrive early, and before their room is available, are always welcome to leave their bags with us, and then go out – or alternatively relax in our cafeteria and TV / internet lounge area.

* Normal check out time is 12 noon

* Subject to availability, we can allow late check out up to 4 hours at price of P100ph

Housekeeping

If you wish to have your room cleaned, during your stay, kindly inform our staff.  As a matter of policy, housekeeping staff do not enter empty guest rooms without your permission.

Parking

Limited off street parking is available at the hotel (on a first come, first served basis).

Payment

We request our guests to kindly lodge with us a deposit equivalent to one night of your stay at least 72 hours before arrival, in order to guarantee your booking.

This amount may be paid in the following ways:-

  1. Direct deposit to our bank account:- Account name: Honey Hunt Residences Inc. Peso Account No: 200021761698. Bank: EastWest Bank, Banilad Branch, Cebu City.  Once the deposit is made, kindly send us a copy of the deposit slip to validate your booking.
  2. Using credit card via PayPal:- We may accept payments via PayPal using this link “PayPal.Me/honeyhunthouse”. This will enable you to pay by credit card (you need a PayPal account, and if you don’t have one, this is very easy to set up).
  3. Directly in cash at our front desk
  4. Remittance via Palawan or Western Union (detail on request).
  5. Payment by Gcash – 0926 622 3820 (David Hunt)

Please note that your booking is not guaranteed unless payment has been made. The property reserves the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received by the said deadline.

Airport

For our guests arriving at Cebu Mactan International Airport, we can offer the following transport options through our 3rd party car rental partner – in each case being met by a driver holding a name-board.  Please enquire for details and latest pricing.

Please reserve your transport with us at least 24H before arrival, and provide full flight details.

In addition, for those not wishing to reserve in advance, there are many taxis at the airport. Since we are a relatively new establishment, some taxi drivers may not know us. Please tell them we are opposite Elicon House in Junquera (pronounced Honkerra) Extension, Cebu City. Honey Hunt House is also on Google map. Journey time should be 35 mins approx, but depends on traffic

Security

All guests are required to present valid ID documents for registration, and make payment in advance (including extensions).  Only registered guests are allowed beyond the hotel lobby; absolutely no visitors are allowed in the rooms.  Rooms may not be swapped or room occupants changed without the permission of front desk.  Please show your gate pass to the guard when entering the building.

No weapons are allowed on the premises at any time.  Security is reinforced with a CCTV system covering strategic points in the building day and night.

Management Liability

The management is not liable for any property loss of guests.  Guests are advised to look after their valuables carefully.

Damage to Property

Registered guests will be held liable for any loss or damage to property in the building, caused by themselves, or any of their visitors.  Also, please do not take away guest room items as souvenirs, soil the linen or towels, or stick anything on room walls; otherwise, a charge will be added to your bill.

Pets are not allowed in the building, and plants are not allowed in guest rooms.

Luggage

Guests may keep their luggage in their rooms, provided it is not excessively bulky, and does not include commercial goods or prohibited items.  Any guest belongings left in the room after check out, and not claimed within 90 days, may be disposed of by management.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the building.  Guests who violate the no smoking rule will be subject to a fine of PHP2,000 per incident for the extra cleaning required.

Fire Safety

To prevent fire, use of the following is prohibited in guest rooms: electric iron, flammable items, candles and fireworks.  We have a regularly maintained fire alarm system to monitor fire hazards as they arise.

Room Keys

Please always leave your room key at the front desk when exiting the building.  Upon final check out, please surrender the key to the front desk.  Any lost key will be subject to a charge of PHP1,000 to cover the cost of replacing the door lock.

Food and Drink

Our cafeteria on the 2nd floor is open from 6.30 am to 10.00 pm (breakfast till 10.00 am), and serves a range of popular local dishes together with both soft and alcoholic beverages.  Room service for these items (ex breakfast) may also be availed.  Use of cafeteria must be settled in cash.

Food from outside the building may be consumed by our guests in the 2nd floor cafeteria area only. 

The cafeteria may also be availed by visitors, but NOT solely for the purpose of purchasing beverages.

Entertainment

Free WIFI and Sky cable is available in guest rooms – please enquire at front desk for any assistance. 

Quiet Enjoyment

Please respect the desire of other guests for peace and quiet.  Please do not shout, talk loudly, slam doors or otherwise make noise in the common areas. 

Parties are not allowed in guest rooms.  Please also do not hang clothes or other items out of the windows.

Medical

In case of illness, please consult front desk to arrange information on doctors, or hospital ambulance service

Violation of Rules

In case of violation of these rules, or any misconduct deemed to cause others inconvenience or discomfort, management reserves the right to ask the guest or visitor to leave.
